What do you contribute to the DME team and how do you further their goals?

I communicate with management regarding projects and tasks that they would like the Social Analytics team to complete. They then use the data we collect and analyze to determine how content is performing on the VA’s social media accounts.

How does your work at DME help you reach your professional goals?

I would like to work in government, so working with a department in the government is very beneficial. I have also gained valuable leadership experience through my role as a Division Officer. Gaining experience in data analysis has also made me realize that this is what I would like to do when I start my career.

Why would you recommend DME to others?

The schedule is very flexible, and the leadership is kind and understanding about students’ schedules. Due to the large number of people in DME, this is also a great opportunity to network and make new connections.
