How to Apply
A Virtual Student Federal Service internship with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Digital Media Engagement team provides the perfect opportunity to gain practical work experience, learn new skills, and network and collaborate with a team of dedicated interns and VA employees from across the country.
Applications for the Virtual Student Federal Service internship cycle open annually on February 1st and run until the end of the month. Mentors select applicants in March and April. The internship officially begins in September. Mentors generally reach out to top candidates for interviews and collaboration via email.
