About the Photo Finders Department
Photo Research Interns will be working on gathering and compiling image data for the VA’s Flickr account so images will be easily accessible for future content.
Photo Researchers are to achieve this by searching the internet for public domain images, using photo editing software to attach metadata to the photos, and then uploading the photos to an organized depository.
Department Tasks
- Interns use Flickr to find and compile images to be accessed by various departments for whenever they are needed.
- Photos are edited to include all needed data before said images are uploaded.
- Interns search for images related to very specific topics and departments and conduct research to clarify they are legally able to use.
