Special Projects
Learn more about the Special Projects department and the type of work interns within this department do.
About Us
The Special Projects Department is home to the America250, A Veteran’s Story (AVS), and Operation Song (OpSong) veteran profile projects, which allow more creative freedom compared to the blog posts typically generated by the Writing Department. Special Projects require a high level of responsibility, research, and writing skills from the get-go as you will be expected to write and commit substantially more. You will also work with Research, Editing, and Graphics interns to create these posts.
- Interns will work as a group of writers, graphic designers, fact checkers, editors, and researchers.
- Interns will create content for A Veteran’s Story (AVS) and Operation Song, all of which bring more awareness to Veterans and Veteran issues.Â
